A.C.E. Automobile Club of Echo High School
A.C.E. (Automobile Club of Echo High School) is a High School Club, dedicated to students that are interested and want to learn about cars. Not only Hot Rods, Tuners,
or Classics, but all cars!
Every year, the students involved in the Automobile Club, host a car show in their hometown of Echo, Oregon. The event is a fundraiser for the club's activities throughout the year, which often includes a trip to the Portland Roadster Show, the drag races, WAAAM (Western Antique Aeroplane and Automobile Museum), the demolition derby and more! We always look forward to seeing them at the Portland Roadster Show.
The car show is held in Downtown Historical Echo, where it has grown each year, in the amount of participating vehicles, sponsors, vendors and spectators. Led by volunteer, Rick Denning, the car show has evolved into an event that has turned this small town into BIG TIME town and it's great to see the increased involvement of the town businesses and it's residents. It's the 'talk of the town' and the whole town comes out to enjoy it and to support the students and Rick for their year-round hard work!
Car show participants come from all over the area and there's now doubt that part of the reason is to win one of the unique trophies they hand out. All the trophies are handmade by the students (with Supervisor Rick), and they are made with used vehicle parts. They're One-of-a-Kind and high in demand.
Come out and support this fine group of young adults and their work. You'll enjoy a small town welcome with a big heart! You may even take home a trophy that will stand out among the rest....just like this club!
