1932 Ford Roadster
Very nice and affordable
'32 Model 18 that is a blast to drive and NOT a small block Chevy...can you believe that!
This hot rod screams "nostalgia" with its circa 1948 Flathead 239 cu. in. V8 power plant.
This rare engine is fed through an electric fuel pump and freshly tuned Holley four-barrel; bump-stick is an old-school "3/4 cam" and Offenhauser high-compression heads.
The engine runs strong, but tame as a kitten cruising the boulevard.
From the engine back is a 360 degree steel bell housing...no slush-box in this car!... but a fresh M21 Muncie 4-speed (no greater thrill than "grabbing gears") transferring the throaty V8 power to a 4-link and transverse sprung Ford 9" super-strong rear axle.
Classic finned front and rear drum brakes stop the roadster on a dime...
Beautiful emerald green paint job that is perfect and a real eye catcher.
Old school American Racing Wheels rims and excellent rubber provide a great look and ride.
Modern instrumentation, tachometer and gauges are easily seen by the pilot.
Car has seat belts, nice upholstery and rumble seat.
Top and support hardware are perfect.
Windshield glass is excellent and for the occasional rain drop, the wiper "motor" will never fail...human powered!
Front fenders are steel.
Body and rear fenders are flawlessly molded fiberglass.
