1953 Studebaker Convertible- One of a Kind
Studebaker never produced a convertible in this body style.
This one started out as a hardtop, damaged in a barn collapse, and was converted to a fully functional soft top using components from a '64 Dodge Dart.
Air ride suspension,
Kelsey Hays style wire wheels,
Supercharged Studebaker R2 V8,
GM 200R4 transmission,
Electric power steering,
Just over 50,000 miles on original construction,
15,000 miles on the engine.
Very nice PPG Concept urethane paint.
