1957 Pontiac Star Chief Convertible

This is a beautiful 1957 Pontiac Starchief convertible. This is a rare car with only a few for sale. There are others on the market, but I can tell you this is one of the best examples.

The car was restored by Vintage Car of Fort Mill, South Carolina. It has only been driven a few thousand miles since the mid 1990s. It was retrofitted with power front disc brakes by Klassic Rides, LLC of Denver, North Carolina. The front disc brake kit included a dual master cylinder and a "hydrovac" system. The Hydrovac system uses a remote vacuum booster. It was a dealer installed option back in the day. The exterior paint is beautiful and a stock color. It is white, but officially it is a Pontiac color of "Sheffield Grey". Originally this would be a completely white car with a blue-grey interior.

The exterior red spear paint was requested by a previous owner during the restoration and recently the interior was completely redone with stock patterns in red to match the exterior spear paint. Also a brand new convertible soft top was done in red to complement the red accent and interior.
Power top works perfectly. The car has the previously mentioned aftermarket power disc brakes and manual steering. The radio is the stock AM however it was converted to AM/FM.
There was also a power antenna installed in the stock passenger front fender location. All the chrome and stainless have been restored and are perfect. The motor is the stock 347 four barrel with just a few thousand miles since restoration. It runs smooth and the four speed hydramatic transmission shifts perfectly.
I have hundreds of pictures of restoration work done as well as receipts for the work.

This is a very nice rare car.

I can personally deliver the car in my enclosed trailer to be part of the deal depending on location.
