1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1 Custom 427 Big Block

Meet " BLACK JADE " my 1969 Mach 1 Custom Show Car, with a big block 427 FE Series, medium riser, side oiler, with Rare Edelbrock Cross Ram Induction Manifold w/ twin Holly 750 cfm carbs. The motor is a Tribute to Holman Moody Racing, who was for years the official race contractor for Ford.

I have won a room full of trophies with this car over the past 15 years, but the most notable are the following:
-- 1st Place, Modified-Trailered Division, 2010 MCA Grand National Show in Seattle, Washington. Plus we won the Lark Bragg Memorial Award for Best Muscle Car.
-- MCA Gold Award at 2013 MCA National Car Show in Reno, NV.
-- Best in Class 1969 -- 2017 Portland Roadster show in Portland, Oregon.

This car turns heads where ever you go. It sounds incredible and leaves no doubt that it is a Big Block Monster. One of the coolest things about this car is that from the outside it looks like just a very nice clean, period correct Mach 1. But when you lift the hood and start looking around the car, that is when you start to see all the custom "One Off" items that are hidden. The list of things done to this car is long and I will try to include the info somewhere in this add. I have mainly shown this car in Oregon, but I have been to Washington 3 times and Reno, NV one time. It has never been to California, Canada, or anywhere east of Oregon in the USA.

The previous owner/builder I bought this car from is now 89 yrs. He was professional machinest by trade and could make just about anything. He bought this car in Lacey, WA in 1987 with a big block 390 and a 4 spd top loader. He began the modification process and changed things over about 17 yrs before selling it to me. Many of the custom modifications he made were just for this car, so they don't exist on any other vehicle. ( I guess its nice to be a machinest.)

If you are interested in this one of a kind Mustang or need additional information, you can call me at (541) 990-1844 Leave a message if I don't pick up and I will call you back as soon as I can.
