This 1940 Ford Deluxe Coupe has been sold.

Recent restoration of a very nice 1940 Ford Deluxe Coupe,
Always a California rust free car since new,
Sold new in California in November 1939,
New paint, original running boards with bonded covers by Hunley Acuff and all new LeBaron-Bonney leather interior,
Has correct front floor mat and trunk mat,
Correct wood graining on all the garnish moldings with correct colors on the dash,
All gauges restored and work correctly,
The original firewall insulator is still in the car in excellent shape,
New glass and new rubber gaskets on all windows,
All new correct wiring with turn signals,
Car is still 6 volt with a new Power-Gen alternator and a new Optima battery hidden in an original style battery case,
Has the Columbia 2 speed rear axle with all the correct controls,

The changes made to the car are as follows:
15" wheels with new '40 hub caps and trim rings, new tires, front tube shock kit from Chassis Enginering, Bob Drake rear sway bar and tube shock kit, new dual exhaust with tube style headers and glass pack mufflers,
The air cleaner has been converted to a dry element, but looks like original,
Seat belts have been installed that closely color match the upholstery,
The motor runs cool and with plenty of power,
All the stock parts removed (shocks, front axle, exhaust manifolds, front sway bar, etc.) will go with the car,
