For Sale 1966 Ford Mustang Sprint 200
We have owned this car for the last 17 years.
During that time we restored the car to stock condition.
It was repainted in the original Ford Light Blue about 16 years ago.
Paint has remained nearly flawless.
The car has always been garaged and covered during our ownership.
A new interior was installed about 14 years ago, also in the original blue.
Interior included replacing the dash pad as well as the instrument cluster.
The engine is the 200 cubic inch in line six cylinder.
It was rebuilt about five years ago.
Car starts and runs great.
It is equipped with Pertronix electric ignition and an electric choke.
Transmission is a three speed manual.
Tranny was gone through about seven years ago.
It received a new clutch, pressure plate and throw out bearing at that time.
Two years ago we went through the front end and the car was fitted with a new steering column and steering box.
The car goes where you point it with no play in the steering wheel.
Car has been well loved during our ownership.
We averaged less than 1.500 miles a year.
It was virtually never driven in the rain.
We took it the car shows and events.
Car does well in a stock Mustang or stock 60's category at shows.
We are selling only because we have run out of room in our garage.
