1947 Chevrolet Fleetmaster Woodie Wagon

This beautiful 1947 Chevy features a very stock looking exterior and interior but is mechanically updated to be a super nice car to drive to local destinations or down the road at freeway speeds to farther away places. 
The restoration and mods were completed in 2013 with the odometer set at zero. 
I bought the car in October, 2017.
Current odometer is 12,500.   
Mustang II IFS from Chassis Engineering. 
The engine is a new GM 350 Crate motor.  
Edelbrock intake and Edelbrock 600 carburetor.
Transmission is a new TH 350.   
Rack and Pinion Power steering. 
Power Brakes with dual diaphram for front disc and rear drum.
Also from Chassis Engineering are front and rear sway bars. 
8.75 inch Ford Mustang rearend. 
2.79 gears.
New Walker radiator.
New 16 gallon gas tank.
Aluminized complete exhaust system with low sound oval mufflers.

Original three rows of seats.
Complete Hampton Coach interior dark tan in color. 
Very original in appearance.
Vintage Air Gen 4 Magnum A/C and Heat professional, custom installation by Dave Kent.
Tilt column topped with Banjo steering wheel. 
Classic Instruments in original dash positions.
All work properly.
Tachometer from C.I. featured in the speedometer area.  
Auto Wire wiring throughout. 
New tinted & tempered windshields and all side glass.
Satellite Siriusxm radio in glove box.

Paint is PPG "Essential" Single Stage with four (4) coats. 
Burgundy color (Similar to 1947 Chevrolet factory color "Ruby Maroon").
All the wood restoration by Chris Messano, noted wood specialist in Harbor City, CA.
All wood is simply stunning!
The Interior wood is 100% original. 
The Exterior wood is 98% original.
All chrome pieces - grill, bumpers, housings, bezels, etc - new or replated.
All stainless new or refurbished. 
Passenger Side Factory Tail Light / brake light added for safety and turn signals / flashers.
Period correct Vintage Fulton Company Sun Shield (Sun Visor) in body color.
All weather soft top in body color.
Steel wheels (6" front, 8" rear) body color with correct '41-'48 Chevrolet new, small hubcaps.
Wheels wrapped in BF Goodrich Radial TA's. 215 front, 235 rear.
I've driven this Wonderous Woodie to Reno/Hot August Nights; Santa Cruz, CA "Woodies on the Wharf' and many "local" 100-200 miles away events in air conditioned comfort without so much as a hiccup.
This Woodie is the best. 
No disappointments all but guaranteed.
