Wanted: Racing Stories

Ladies and Gentlemen, boys and girls, speed freaks of all ages... Start your engines!

David Dickinson and Evancourt Press, editor and publisher of The Old Car Nut Book series, are now gathering stories for book #4 in the series. We are looking for RACING stories. Street, strip, or track! Where did you like to go fast?

We all have stories.

Who went a little too fast on the street next to someone that thought they were a little faster? Next thing you know, it's time to shut it down due to common sense or a light in front of you... or behind you!

Who has spent a weekend at some of the long narrow strips of asphalt that have disappeared so rapidly in recent years? If those strips could tell stories... but, they can't. You need to tell yours.

Who has spent time going in circles, either on asphalt or dirt? From Indy to the local fairgrounds, we want your story!

We need to preserve these stories for family, friends, and posterity and The Old Car Nut Book #4 is where you can preserve yours. If you don't think you are a writer, that's OK. It's the story that is important. We'll take care of all the commas and spelling errors. And you don't have to be famous, either. This book project will focus on everyday people from all over the USA. But, your story might end up next to a racer you have admired for a long time. Hopefully you have pictures to go along with your story. Let us know what you have.

The important thing is to get your story told so it can be shared. For info on how to submit your story, go to www.OldCarNutBook.com and check out the 'How To Submit' page from the menu or call our editor and publisher, David Dickinson, at 206-497-3197.
