We've Lost One Of The Good Ones...
DJ Bruce of Runaway Productions Has Passed Away

More pictures below....

If you've attended car shows in the Willamette Valley area and beyond, chances are you have enjoyed the tunes of Runaway Production's "DJ" Bruce Silkett.

It is with a heavy heart that we share the news of Bruce's passing on December 21, 2013. Bruce had an immeasurable talent for sharing stories, telling jokes and playing the perfect songs that took us back to our days of youth. One of Bruce's often repeated statements when pointing out locations of cars, restrooms, vendor booths, etc. at a car show would be "Located to your right, my left". I speak for many as I say, “Thank you for the great tunes, great times and the memories, Bruce. You will be greatly missed!”

A "Celebration of Life" is planned for Bruce on Sunday, January 19th, 2014, beginning at 2 p.m. at the Silverton Elks Lodge (address below). Grab a few car buddies and "cruise on over" to remember Bruce, listen to some of his favorite tunes, enjoy refreshments and share some stories (just like Bruce enjoyed doing).
