What types of Classic Cars and Trucks for sale appear on NorthWestClassicAutoMall.com’s website?
Classic Cars and Trucks for sale 1980 and older are the only types of vehicles we will advertise on our website. You can advertise both classic cars for sale and classic trucks for sale that are project vehicles as well.
| |
If my classic car sells before the ad expiration date, can I get a refund, or advertise another classic car for sale to use up the unused time?
Unfortunately we cannot refund any money if your classic car sales before the expiration date.
| |
Can I change my classified ad if I am not getting any response?
Yes, when you advertise your classic car for sale on our website, you have the opportunity to change the ad if you wish. Customers frequently change items such as price, contact information, and text.
| |
Can I cancel my ad if I decide I do not want to sell my car?
Yes, if you have a classic car for sale on our website and decide you do not want to sell it, you can cancel the ad at any time.
| |
How soon after you receive my ad will my car be shown on your website?
When you have a classic car for sale and submit it to us for advertising, your ad will appear within 48 hours after receipt of payment.
| |
How can I send you pictures, and do they have to be digital pictures?

I am considering selling my classic car on your website, but do not know what price to ask for it. Can you give me any suggestions of how to find the value of my car?
Although we are not automobile appraisers, we do see a lot of classic cars for sale. The best way to find the value of your antique or classic car or truck is to get it appraised by a professional appraiser. If you do not want to go that route, you can purchase a price guide from your local bookstore. If you visit our booth at any event we participate in, we usually have a price guide available for your reference. There are on-line sources for finding values of classic cars and trucks such as NADA.com or Kelly Blue Books website.
| |
My husband has a “Bunch” of old cars that he should sell. Do you offer any discounts for multiple ads?
If you have several antique or classic cars for sale, drop us a line and we will be glad to work with you.
| |
I am in a car club in Washington State, and I noticed that you list some events on the bottom of your pages. How can I get my car clubs event shown like that?
The ads you see at the bottom of the pages are referred to as “Banner Ads”. Many clubs want more exposure for their events and realize that we get several thousand visitors a month to our website. We charge $100.00 for the banner ads and they run from the time they are put on the site until the event takes place. We even help design the banner ad for you. Call or e-mail us for more information about this.
| |
I don’t have a classic car for sale, but would like to have a picture of my 1937 Chevrolet posted in your Photo Gallery. How do I go about doing this
Just sent us a photo, that’s all there is to it. Either e-mail it to us or send it via regular mail. If you see us at an event, we will be glad to take the picture for you free of charge.
You don’t have to have a classic car for sale to have pictures of it posted on our website.
| |
I hear so much about ebay, what makes you different than them?
North West Classic Auto Mall.com does not charge any commissions when you have a classic car for sale on our website, Nor do we participate in the actual sale of the vehicle.
Our website is viewed World Wide, just like ebay. If you advertise on ebay, there are commissions involved and reserves, etc.. We charge $20.00 for 90 days, and that is the only expense you will pay. When you sell your car from our website, you pay no commissions or other fees at all.
| |
Maybe I am blind but on the list of cars I only see year, make, model and price. I am looking for a car listing number?
Click on the side menu where it says "Cars & Trucks for Sale". This will take you to the search page.
Here you will see "Custom & Classic" and then "Project Cars & Trucks" now scroll down to where it says, "Enter your Search Ad#" making sure you click on the little circle at the left. Now put in the ad number you wish to look at and click, "Search". I hope this helps?
| |
How do I update my ad? I have added items to car and want to make a price change. Can pictures be changed here?

I am trying to transport Qty. 2
"low/show cars" to Las Vegas in
November.
Can you please tell me if you offer this service or can reffer me to
someonethat does. The cars would be leaving Atlanta, GA and traveling to Las Vegas.(round trip). Thanks,
We have used GED Transport personally and found them just great to deal with. If you go to our "Articles of Interest" section, you will find an article entitled," Transporting your Antique & Classic Car" or just call them...604-880-5815
The photograph in the article is one I took when they came to pick up our "C Cab" near Portland and take it to its new owner in San Diego!

Will NorthWestClassicAutoMall.com guarantee that I sell my classic car?
When you advertise your classic car We cannot guarantee that your classic car will sell, we can however guarantee you that if you have a classic car for sale on our website, you will get top quality advertising at very reasonable rates.
| |
Can I advertise 2 classic cars for sale in one ad if I keep my ad under 100 words?
No, you can only advertise one classic car for sale, or one classic truck for sale per ad.
| |
How can a person place an ad for a classic car for sale if he/she does not have a computer?
If you have a classic car for sale, and do not have a computer, simply mail us the pertinent information and the pictures, and we will do the rest. If you have a friend that can print out the on line form, you can just fill that form out and send it to us. You can use your phone number for your contact information. You will notice that several people who are advertising their classic cars for sale on our website have only a phone number for contact information.
| |
When I open up your website, I see pictures of 6 classic cars for sale. How can I get a picture of my car on that page?
This page is referred to as the “Feature Page”. If you are advertising a classic car for sale on our website and want to Feature it, we can do that for you. There is an additional charge for this service, however the added exposure is well worth it. Often, this has resulted in the sale of the car.

How long does it take, after ordering, to receive the product? We live in Troutdale, Oregon.

It would depend what the product was.
Most items can be on their way to you within a week or ten days or even sooner if the item is in our inventory. For special orders or "rush" orders, we will certainly do our best to comply.
| |
I live local and would like to drop off my pictures. Where can I
find your shop? Robert
Hi Robert
Most of our clients mail us their pictures along with a SASE
and I scan the pictures here at the office and mail them back to you.
Often though, car owners bring their pictures to us at our booth when we
are working a car show in their area. Our mailing address is

Hi Jim & Patsy,
Thanks to your website, our 1969 Pontiac Grand Prix has now
found a home with a Pontiac admirer in Montana. Do you have a way to
mark the ad "SOLD HERE!", or do we just let it run out?
It's ad # 10909 1969 Pontiac Grand Prix.
Thanks again! If ever we have the need, we'll certainly use your site again!

Hi Charlyn
That's great news! Thanks for letting us know. We will mark it "SOLD" !

STILES says:
I WAS JUST WONDERING... I dont really have anyone to ask and I love
this website! and I thought maybe you could answer a simple question for me.. when i look at some of these ads, I see it says "57 chevy 2door post"
What does post mean???? I know that's probably pretty elementary, but you're
the only place i knew to ask, so if you know of a website that answers
questions of that type let me know. thanks again for such a great site!!!
Good question, Stiles, and I'm sure many other people wonder the same thing. The term "Post" refers to the car being a Sedan. A hardtop has no "Post" between the windows. People refer to Cars as either being a 2 door "Post" or as a 2 door Sedan. Both mean the same.
Feel free to ask "Any" questions you wish, we may not have the answer, but
we will try to find an answer for you. Thank you for visiting our site and we are glad you enjoy it.

I have a 1966 Dodge polara convertable.80% restored.Needs tires. And ready to go.. I want to know the value please..
http://www.nada.com/
The above Website would be one way for you to find out what your Dodge is valued at, Deann.
Without actually seeing the car, your best bet to determine the value would be to have it appraised. There is a reputable appraiser featured on our Website...http://www.northwestclassicautomall.com/articles.ihtml?pid=51&step=2
Another way is to just put the make, model & year into a search and look on the internet to see what others are asking for a similar car.
| |
Please e-mail instructions to change the price on my ad already placed.
Site does not show how to edit ads
Thank you

To have your ad edited, you can simply e-mail the new information to us at staff@nwcam.com and we will change it for you at no cost...even pictures!

FBI information for the Africa/England & other overseas Scams ...read on:I am trying to sell my 1970 monte carlo on your site, and received a e-mail from Tom Smith at tomsmith2000@yahoo.com who said he was a car dealer from Africa. I was wondering if this is one of those scams I was warned about from you at NWCAM. What is your personal opinion, and do you think I should reply to this person?

Well, you can reply if you like and check him out but I wouldn't put much faith in it.
So far, any offers coming in from West Africa/Nigeria/England & some other countries have not been legitimate to my knowledge. Please contact us if anyone hears different.
Just be very careful with these people
and don't give them ANY personal information. Any money/checks you receive from them or
anyone for that matter should be thoroughly checked out before you sign anything or commit
to anything. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES should you ever give bank account info or credit card info to them or anyone you don't know. Some people are still sending complete credit card info by e-mail too and this is not a wise practice. The e-mail addresses we have seen so far are :

What if I think my classic car is sold, and the buyer backs out, can I get my ad reinstated?
When you inform us that your classic car is sold, we will mark it "Sold" and continue to run your ad for 14 days. If your sale does not go through during that time, simply us to reactivate your classic car for sale ad, and we will remove the sold sign

Your flyers say that if I advertise my classic car for sale on your website, you will take the pictures for free. Where do I take my car to get the pictures taken?

Our flyers state the “If we are where your are” we will take the pictures for free. If you have a classic car for sale and want the pictures taken by us, we will take them for you free if you have your car at an event that we are attending. Feel free to give us a call or send us an e-mail for our schedule. Chances are we may be participating in an event near you very soon.

How can I reach those that want to sell cars with their e mail?

Most of our clients have their e-mail address right in their contact information on their ad. Many are "hot" and simply require clicking on tosend them an e-mail. If there is no e-mail, they don't have one or don't wish it to be published.

The "Latest Additions" category is a good idea. It saves a lot of time. One question though.--- are these added daily? Or is there a way you can show what day they are listed?
Keep up the good work. Mel
Hi Mel, The Latest Additions category changes as the new ads come in so yes, usually cars are added daily, during the week. As the newest one is added, whichever one has been on there the longest is then put into its proper category, leaving just one page of ads in the "Newest" section.

I have a 55 Cadillac Fleetwood 4 door. The body is fair, needs interior, has automatic headlight dimmer, electric windows, seats, good windshield and back window, needs side windows. Very restorable. Can you tell me what this car would be worth and if this website is the right place to sell it.
You're probably best to go to the NADA Website to check out the value of your 55 Cadillac.
We have a few Cadillac on our Website at this time and have certainly sold a few this way.
Our cars range from parts cars to pristine, top notch "to die for" street rods so I certainly think it is a likely place for you to start and certainly affordable at $25 for 90 days and $35 for 6 months.
Good luck in your quest and we are as near as your phone with a toll-free # 1-877-860-8388.

Who’s responsibility is it to arrange shipping if I buy a classic car from your website?
If a person has a classic car for sale on our website, it is not always necessarily the responsibility of the seller make arrangements for transporting the vehicle. Usually the buyer and seller work this out between them. Transporting classic cars is not as much of an obstacle as one might think. If you do not know of a reputable transporter, check out Larrys Auto Transport ad on this website. If they can't help you, they will find someone who can.

I've just picked up 2 61 lincolns. Both in somewhat sorry shape to look at but intact with little rust.
But one thing I am having a very hard time finding out is how I should address the motors. (If I'm having to rebuild them I would like them right)
I,like anyone, love power, but of course reasonable fuel economy is important as well. (yes yes I know, the words fuel economy and 430/460 donbt usually go together) I am not expecting 25-30 mpgs, but I would like to avoid the little things that make a 15-18 freeway milage engine into a 7-8max mpg engine.
I'm sure you know what I mean. Add a throatier carb here, an RV? Cam, a few extra cubes, vales set to xxxx and you gain x amount of HP and torque,.. but lose x amount of mpg.
On the other hand, I've had Cadillacs which got better milage with a 500ci than with a 472 or 429 if driven gently simply because the added torque and hp required less pedal to cruise.
I don't know or have any idea who to ask about such a thing in regard to the Lincolns and their M-E-L engines..
One of them I am likely going to stick with stock everything for the most part,
The other I would be willing to do most anything ( swapping out engine/tranny for newer 460 setup or whatever if it made sense )
What would you suggest? And who would you suggest I speak to?
Kevin.

WHAT TYPE OF PAYMENT WOULD BE ACCEPTABLE WHEN SELLING MY ANTIQUE CAR/S? I DON'T WANT TO USE COMMERCIAL TYPE PAYMENT.

Car people we have spoken with have opened a bank account especially for this kind of transaction. Having money wired direct to your (special) account is faster, safer and easier when dealing over long distance. Just open an account with the minimum amount of $$$ required, have the money wired...everyone gets a record of the transaction, including the bank and then you just transfer the money out of that account to your regular savings account or whatever.
Hope this helps....
